제 개인에게도 중요한 스승이었던 Andrew Weatherall 이 갑작스레 세상을 떴습니다. 20세기말 테크노뮤직의 '정의'를 내릴줄 알았던 진정한 창작의 거물.
구글클라우드에 2003년 발매된 저의 3집 [머신키드]에 담지않은 2001년산 부틀렉이 몇 곡 있습니다. 머신키드 대부분의 데모곡은 이병우님의 뮤직도르프 스튜디오에서 숙식을 하며 만들어졌습니다. 그 중 한 곡(무제,13번 트랙)을 오늘 그의 부고소식을 듣자마자 밤을 새서 급마스터링을 한 후 사운드클라우드에 헌정곡으로 올립니다. 제목은 SUB FREQUENCY FIFTY SIX로 명명했습니다.(앤디의 올해 나이가 56세)
I uploaded a tribute song to Andrew Weatherall ,The great inspirer of British Techno/Acid House/Electronica of 90s as well as Mark Bell of LFO.
This bootleg was originally recorded in 2001 for my third studio album [Machine Kid(2003)] and was excluded. When I heard the death of Andy Weatherall from the British Guardian News, I decided to upload this untitled bootleg as a tribute to Andy by new naming "SUB FREQUENCY FIFTY SIX" . He was truly inspirer when I was a young boy.
Thank you Andy for the one of kind inspirations for creativity. Your voyage will never end. Rest in Peace.
